OctoWoW addons

OctoWoW is a 1.12 private server with its own launcher. The client label I saw was dated 4 Nov 2026. A forum reply describes the underlying client as 1.12.2, while a repository description targets 1.12.1. The date label and base version measure different things; the 1.12.1 versus 1.12.2 target descriptions remain separate. Addon files still go in Interface/AddOns at the client root.

Record

The project's Gitea, octowow.st/git, is the addon list I will cite: pfUI, ShaguTweaks, pfQuest with the Turtle database, SHalts, SHPlates, ClassicAPI and SuperAPI. Custom quests on the realm are not in a generic quest addon. If pins are missing, that is the reason, not a broken zip.

A Static Ninja video from 13 Aug 2026 walks through the modern client, OctoUpdater, and the extra mods people stack. I treat the video as a tour of that updater, not as a version pin. The git commit dates outrank a video title when they disagree.

Dependencies are specific to each repository: the listed pfUI fork explicitly requires ClassicAPI. That does not establish that every UI needs both ClassicAPI and SuperAPI. Read the dependency list for the chosen fork before combining API layers. This page does not offer the game client. The launcher link stays on the project's own site.
