WoW Forever addons

Yes, Forever has addons. They install into _forever_, not into the retail or beta folder.

The three questions

Forever is Blizzard's 2004 Azeroth with new work on top, level cap 60, played with a subscription. It launched on 4 Nov 2026 as 1.60.1. CurseForge opened a Forever category and said authors were shipping daily. That is a catalog, not a promise that every famous addon has a build.

Questie, ElvUI, RestedXP and Dominos publish toc lines that include 16001. WeakAuras' current classic tag does not. Check the addon page before you install. The Forever list groups the ones I could source by job.

Beta players must copy Interface and WTF from _classic_beta_ into _forever_, then rename the account folder inside WTF to the live account name. That migration is one CurseForge post. I am not going to pretend Blizzard wrote a second guide.

Questions

Do retail addons work on Forever?

Only if the toc lists interface 16001 or the author ships a Forever build. A retail-only zip will show as out of date or will not list.

Where is the folder?

World of Warcraft/_forever_/Interface/AddOns. See the folder table.
