Turtle WoW addons after shutdown
Turtle WoW is an archival addon search. The linked Wowhead report is the source previously recorded for a 15 May 2026 shutdown; it is the only cited publisher for that exact date. An independent player discussion on the OctoWoW forum, dated 11 August 2026, also describes finding Turtle shut down. That supports the operational change without independently establishing the May timestamp. The archive should not be read as a current realm-install recommendation.
Record
The search is still "turtle wow addons." The useful answer is no longer an install guide. It is where those files can go now. The stack people used was pfQuest with the Turtle database, TurtleTweaks, SuperWoW, nampower, UnitXP SP3 and VanillaFixes. The old wiki still names them. Whether a given file loads on a successor is a per-file question.
OctoWoW is the 1.12 client people moved toward, and its git lists several of the same families. RavenCraft and other 1.12 realms show up in the same roundup. I am not ranking them. I am saying the addon folder is still the client-root Interface/AddOns path, because 1.12 clients do not use Blizzard's flavor folders.
This page does not host a Turtle client and does not walk through a fresh install as if the realm were up. If you still have the old folder, treat it as an archive. Copying it onto OctoWoW can work for generic 1.12 addons and can fail for Turtle-only quest data. pfQuest in particular needs the database that matches the realm's quests.
