Warmane and 3.3.5a addons

Warmane is a 3.3.5a private server, build 12340, not a Blizzard realm. Addon files go in the client-root Interface/AddOns folder. There is no _retail_ or _forever_ directory to choose. A zip packed for retail 12.1.5 will not load, and renaming the folder does not change the interface number inside the toc.

Record

Boss mods are the part that is actually realm-specific. Public backport repositories ship DBM modules aimed at Icecrown, Lordaeron, Frostmourne and Onyxia. The retail Deadly Boss Mods package is the wrong file. I link the backport from the sources on this page and I do not call it an official Warmane download.

The Warmane site has shown Onyxia moving into a Wrath prepatch. That is a realm-progress note, not an addon version. I am not tying a plugin build to that prepatch unless a project page says the toc changed.

A 2023 walkthrough shows the folder drop for this client. I use it as a placement demo. I do not use it as a list of which addons are safe. Rules written by the realm, if they exist, were not in the pages I opened, so this article does not invent a code of conduct.
