WoW Hardcore addons
Hardcore uses the Era client and the _classic_era_ folder. The ruleset is permanent death, not a new addon directory.
Same folder, harsher rules
Blizzard lists Hardcore next to Era. ElvUI's wiki puts both in _classic_era_. An addon that is safe on Era is the file you install here. What changes is the cost of a mistake, not the toc number. I am not going to recommend a "death alarm" addon I have not sourced.
Questie on the Classic build shows quests. It does not know that dying deletes the character. Treat route advice as advice. The Era page has the interface number, 11509.
Questions
Do I need a separate Hardcore download of ElvUI?
Use the Era or classic flavor the project labels for _classic_era_. There is not a second Blizzard client to point at.
