Grimfall WoW addons and client compatibility
GrimfallWoW is a custom private-server project with Classless and Conquest of Azeroth realms. Private Server Hub reports a 3.3.5a client; a dedicated addon catalog is not published in the sources below.
Which Grimfall does this search mean?
The GrimfallWoW homepage identifies Classless and Conquest of Azeroth as its two product lines. Private Server Hub independently describes Whisperwind as the Classless Wildcard realm and Conquest of Azeroth as the second realm, opened on 16 October 2026. These names describe game rules and custom classes. They are not addon-manager providers or separate Blizzard game flavors.
The same report calls GrimfallWoW a custom 3.3.5a server. For that client generation, addon placement is the client-root Interface/AddOns directory. The matching file is a legacy-client package with a relevant TOC declaration and compatible API calls. A current retail or Forever download has a different target. Renaming its directory or changing an interface number does not supply the APIs that its code expects.
Custom classes add a second compatibility question. An addon can target the right client generation while containing a spell list, talent model or class filter written for ordinary Wrath classes. That is a reason to read its project documentation before choosing a rotation, talent or gear tool. It is not evidence that a particular Grimfall addon works or fails; no such project-specific support statement is supplied here.
The 16 October article describes the launch phase at level 20. A later article from the same publisher reports a level-40 Phase 2 on 30 October. Those are dated progression reports, not contradictory caps for the same day. They also do not establish an addon release version. This page keeps the current addon-build and download-size fields empty rather than deriving them from realm progression.
For a generic 3.3.5a installation example, the Warmane guide explains the folder convention. Its realm-specific DBM backports are attributed to Warmane realms and are not recommendations for Grimfall. Keep the realm distinction when following links: a shared client era does not make custom encounters, classes or saved profiles interchangeable.

Questions
Does a Warmane pack establish Grimfall support?
No. The client generation can match while custom-class data and encounter modules differ. Follow a project statement that explicitly names the realm.
