Compatibility and installation

The prior CurseForge project record describes support for retail and Forever; that listing supplies the version and dependency fields here. An older GitHub fork has an older interface declaration and lists Syndicator as optional, so it is not evidence for the current package or a reason to merge the two dependency declarations. I am quoting that description rather than assuming every classic flavor is included. Saved variables come as a pair, one for the cache and one for the layout. Both sit in WTF.

Bagnon is the other combiner on this site and it needs BagBrother instead. Running both is how bag frames fight over the same button. Choose Baganator when you want the Syndicator-backed view, especially if you already use Syndicator for other plugins.

A search for the bare name is large enough, and steady enough, that this is not a one-week pulse. The page still only claims the build and the dependency. Download counts are not on the project page, so they are not here.

Treat Syndicator as a separate component when moving a bag setup between clients. The cache and the visible category layout serve different jobs, and copying one file does not document the state of the other. Compare the dependencies in the selected Baganator release before reusing an older Syndicator archive supplied by an unrelated interface pack.
