Class Codex for WoW

Class Codex is the Icy Veins in-game guide, author sogu, command /cc. It is not ClassicCodex and it is not Codex Classic. Those CurseForge names belong to other projects. Mixing them up is how people install a database for the wrong game version.

Compatibility and installation

Wago's page says Class Codex has moved. After 6 Aug 2026 the releases stopped on Wago. Installation is the Icy Veins App, which Icy Veins announced as the way their guides get into the client. I am not listing a CurseForge zip for this addon.

Because the app pushes the addon, a manual folder copy may lag the app build. If /cc does nothing, check that the app finished and that the addon is enabled for the character. The folder still has to land in the flavor you are logged into.

This page does not reprint rotation text from Icy Veins. The search is for the addon itself: where it installs, what it is not, and why the Wago button is a dead end.

The distribution change matters when following older guides: an old Wago listing can document the project identity without supplying its current release. Use the publisher app link for the currently described delivery route. An Icy Veins article on a class and the Class Codex addon also serve different purposes; the existence of a web guide does not establish that a corresponding addon build is installed.

Questions

Where do I put Class Codex?

Unzip so the folder Class Codex sits in that client's Interface/AddOns directory. The folder table lists the client path.

Does Class Codex have a Midnight build?

Works on Retail; distribution moved from Wago to the Icy Veins App
