Compatibility and installation

Addon Trials coverage placed it near the front of frame replacements after ElvUI's reduced Midnight feature set. I treat that as a popularity note from one write-up, not as a measurement I took. ElvUI remains the broader suite. Danders Frames is the frame package.

Party and raid frames are still allowed under the Midnight posts. They display units. They do not compute a rotation. That is why this addon is on the "still works" side of the Midnight table while Hekili is not.

The folder field is not separately documented in this review; preserve the release archive names. Profiles live in saved variables inside WTF. If you switch characters and the frames reset, you are looking at a missing profile selection, not a failed download.

The displayed project title does not by itself establish the directory name. Keep the TOC-bearing folders supplied by the release rather than inventing a name containing spaces. Frame profiles also have their own scope: an account, character or specialization selection can alter what appears without changing which package version is on disk.
