Hekili for WoW
Hekili is the rotation helper that stopped. The maintainer closed the project on 20 Jan 2026, before the Midnight launch, on the last retail line 11.2.5. The readme says the combat information a helper would need is no longer available to addons. I am not reprinting that as a ban on every addon. The policy page is the place for the wider rule.
Compatibility and installation
There is no Midnight build to install and no honest fork I can point at from the sources I kept. A video that shows an old Hekili pack is a recording of the previous expansion. I will not label it current.
People searching the name usually want to know whether to wait. My answer is no: switch to the assisted highlight and one-button rotation Blizzard added, which the Midnight posts describe. WeakAuras is also not a drop-in replacement for a priority queue.
If a pack site still offers a Hekili zip, the interface number on the toc will tell you it is stale. Editing that number so the addon loads does not restore the combat data the helper used to read.
The project-end date is an author statement from the linked repository, rather than a date inferred from an abandoned download button. Old release archives can remain accessible after maintenance ends. Their continued availability is useful for identifying a historical package, but does not make that package a supported Midnight release or establish that the removed API behavior has returned.

Questions
Where do I put Hekili?
Unzip so the folder Hekili sits in that client's Interface/AddOns directory. The folder table lists the client path.
Does Hekili have a Midnight build?
Discontinued at the 12.0 prepatch (2026-01-20)
