Compatibility and installation

CurseForge's Forever launch post names Polestar among the addons written for the new client. That is a second source for "this is a Forever project," next to the repository itself. The version I quote is the tag on the release, 0.3.2, not the blog's mention.

RestedXP is the other route guide and it is not the same download. Questie supplies quest locations and does not replace a step-by-step route. A sensible Forever leveling set is Polestar or RestedXP, plus Questie, not three route guides at once.

Because the code is on GitHub, you can install the release zip rather than the source archive. A source archive may differ from the packaged layout, so inspect the TOC location before copying it. That distinction is the whole of the GitHub install page, applied here.

Repository source archives and packaged releases can have different layouts. Inspect the chosen archive instead of assuming every source zip is unusable or every release zip has one folder. The installation target is the TOC-bearing addon directory directly under AddOns. Route coverage describes intended levels and races, while a tag identifies the particular snapshot of those route files.
