Questie for WoW

Questie 12.6.2 is the quest map I check first for Forever and for Classic flavors. The CurseForge page and the GitHub release both published that tag on 6 Nov 2026, for Forever, MoP, Titan Reforged, Classic and TBC. I am not listing a retail Midnight build, because neither page offered one.

Compatibility and installation

The folder is simply Questie. The command is /questie. The arrow that points across the world is optional and comes from TomTom. Questie still draws starters and turn-ins without TomTom. The arrow is the piece that goes missing when TomTom is absent.

On Forever, Questie is the quest half of the leveling stack. Polestar and RestedXP are route guides. They are not substitutes for the quest dots. I keep them on different pages so a search for the quest addon does not land on a guide pack.

If the map stays empty, the usual cause is the zip's extra folder, not a missing database. The toc file has to sit directly inside Interface/AddOns/Questie. A path that reads Questie/Questie/Questie.toc will not load.

Quest availability and a chosen leveling route answer different questions. When comparing a map marker with a route step, first compare the client flavor and quest database named by each project. A route can intentionally skip a visible quest. That difference alone does not show that Questie is missing data or that the route guide has failed.

Questions

Where do I put Questie?

Unzip so the folder Questie sits in that client's Interface/AddOns directory. The folder table lists the client path.

Does Questie have a Midnight build?

No Retail build; works on Forever and Classic flavors
